How are tourmaline straightening plates more effective?
Tourmaline straightening plates are more effective than ceramic plates due to their ability to generate higher levels of negative ions, which reduce frizz and enhance shine. The additional infrared heat emitted by tourmaline plates penetrates the hair more deeply, resulting in longer-lasting straightening with less heat exposure. Their smoother glide and faster heat-up time make tourmaline plates a preferred choice for achieving sleek, smooth hair with minimized damage compared to ceramic plates.
How to use this hair straightener & crimper?
Step 1: Begin with clean, dry hair. Apply a heat protectant spray to shield your hair from heat damage. Step 2: Divide your hair into small sections Step 3: For straightening, take a section of hair and place it between the plates of the straightening iron. Start near the roots and slowly glide the iron down the length of the hair, following the motion with your wrist for a smooth finish. For crimping, take a small section of hair and clamp the iron, holding it closed for a few seconds. Move down the length of the hair, releasing and reclamping to create textured crimps. Step 4: Repeat the straightening/crimping process for each section of hair. Once done, apply a hair serum or spray for shine and hold.
